Joyous Occasions is owned and operated by Dale & Jen Neidert. Married for 34 years, with 5 children plus grandkids, this family-run business carries the philosophy that every event has to be as good as if it is one of our child's. With over 20 years of design and décor experience, Joyous Occasions is the trusted choice for your special event decoration.
Our focus is on your unique style and ideas. Each bride becomes family to us and we truly miss them when the event is complete. After all, you are trusting us with on of the most important days of your life, and we at Joyous Occasions do not take that lightly. You can be assured that we will put all the love and care in every flower, every crease, fold, light, and accessory until we feel it is perfect and good enough for one of our own.

Our Services
Our team provides full set-up and tear-down of events. We dedicate between 20-50 hours of preparation and organization beforehand to ensure that every detail is perfectly prepared. We sincerely believe that any amazing event begins with the ambiance when your guests step into the room. If the ambiance is romantic and lovely, the company will be sweeter, the food tastier, drinks more jubilant and dancing inevitable! We thank you for the opportunity to make your dream a reality and for letting us take the burden of planning off of you and your family so that you can focus on what's important. Our Process
RESERVE YOUR DATE
A $500 deposit is required to save your wedding date.
THREE MONTHS BEFORE
It all begins with an initial consultation (1-2 hours) where I get an idea of your vision and dream. I’ll give suggestions, show pictures, samples and demos, then compile your choices into plan. Once we have achieved your perfect look, an estimate will be provided. Since design is based off of your selections, we are able to scale them down or add design elements according to your budget. At this time, 50% of the balance is due.
30 DAYS BEFORE
Final guest counts and payment of remaining balance is due.
OTHER DETAILS
More than two visits may result in an added consult fee. Joyous Occasions has decorated many venues across Northwest Ohio, but for unfamiliar venues, a minimal scouting fee may be required.
